18 Sep 2017 Client: Our Lady of the Star Church – Jieh – Lebanon Date & Location: 2017, Lebanon A new Church situated at the seaside town of Lebanon, Jieh area, was launched summer of 2017. Our Lady of the Star Church trustee, Mr. Georges El Azzi, approached our professional team at Prolites to support him with a full sound system solution. The main concern was to have a discreet yet powerful sound to suit the necessities of the church and for it to be installed in short time ready for the opening. Prolites presented the best solution for this project with K-array sleek compact designs that fits perfectly the interior of the church and the client’s expectations. Four, white colored, Kobra KK102 were coupled with four Kobra KK52 Mark I installed in a Line-array on both sides of the church. These speakers provide true line array characteristics, phase coherence, low distortion and focused listening in both the near field and at a distance from the speaker. The system was completed with two KMT12 Mark I powered 12’’ subwoofers. Also for the live sound need, two KF12P – Full Range Multi-purpose Speaker were installed for the church choir and instruments. Moreover, the altar area required additional speakers, where another 2 Kobra KK52 line array were needed. The full audio set-up was controlled with one KA84 and one KA24 audio power amplifier and processor. “The results were outstanding and exceeded our expectations”, said Mr. Azzi, who highly admires the work done by our team and the quality of the K-array system and added: “I strongly recommend this system for its innovative design and high quality”. This project comes along a series of projects for K-array in the region where sound quality is as important as the appearance of the sound system.
