Worship venue installs K-array for an invisible live sound system solution

Client: Church – Jieh – Lebanon

Date & Location: 2017, Lebanon

A new Church situated at the seaside town of Lebanon, Jieh area, was launched summer of 2017.

The trustees wanted a discreet yet powerful sound taking into consideration the acoustics of the venue to suit the necessities of the church and for it to be installed in short time ready for the opening.

The solution was with 4 KK 102 (2 per each side), as the main front of house system with 4 KK52 smaller array units as delay. All the units were in white colour making them almost invisible and not interfering with the church’s interior finishing.

These speakers provide true line array characteristics, phase coherence, low distortion and focused listening in both the near field and at a distance from the speaker. The system was completed with two KMT12 Mark I powered 12’’ subwoofers. Also for the live sound need, two KF12P – Full Range Multi-purpose Speaker were installed for the church choir and instruments. Moreover, the altar area required additional speakers, where another 2 Kobra KK52 line array were needed. The full audio set-up was controlled with one KA84 and one KA24 audio power amplifier and processor.

“The results were outstanding and exceeded our expectations”, said Mr. Azzi, who highly admires the work done by our team and the quality of the K-array system and added: “I strongly recommend this system for its innovative design and high quality”.

This project comes along a series of projects for K-array in the region where sound quality is as important as the appearance of the sound system.
